Technical Development

SimpleChain 2.0

  1. Used d3.js to implement a demo of BlockHeader chain structure visualization;
  2. Completed user billing query interface;
  3. Implemented the following feature: After the user takes the order, the transaction is marked as being processed, and the API does not provide the cross-chain transaction being processed; during rollback, the state of the taker is re-marked;
  4. Tried using influxdb and grafana to collect and display the data of various indicators of sipe;
  5. Modified the reward distribution method of cross-chain anchor nodes.

Mining Client-SimpleNode

  1. Evaluated the requirements of version 2.0.5, and developing new deployment logic for library contracts;
  2. Added codes reliant on nested library contracts;
  3. Fixed bugs.

Blockchain Explorer

  1. Completed construction of the test environment for main chain and sub-chains;
  2. Optimized the cross-chain transaction list. API documents have been provided, pending joint debugging.

Wallet-ChainBox

Completed the prototype, design and back-end environment of cross-chain transaction module.

About SimpleChain

The mission of SimpleChain is to simplify the blockchain for business.

SimpleChain is a PoW main chain with flexible sub-chains. Different sub-chains can adopt different kinds of consensus and block data structure as needed, to enable a variety of applications and use cases on blockchain. Sharding is also implemented to improve performance. This double-layered structure of one main chain and multiple sub-chains can fuel various applications while ensuring the consistency of the network.

Built on VeraxChain, SimpleChain’s first sub-chain, Baoquan.com provides record keeping services which serves to keep records of online data and authenticate electronic evidence. In June 2018, Hangzhou Internet Court of China judged a case of copyright dispute based on data stored on Baoquan.com. For the first time in China, the legal effect of the electronic data stored on blockchain is recognized in the judicial system.
